Boyd Bros. Transportation Helps Place “Wreaths Across America”

As reported in the Dec 23 print edition of Transport Topics, truck drivers from around the U.S. helped honor veterans by taking part in an annual tradition of laying Christmas wreaths at the headstones of U.S. service members at Arlington National Cemetery.

According to the Wreaths Across America organization, more than 143,000 wreaths were placed on Dec. 14 by 30,000 volunteers.

A number of Boyd Bros. Transportation employees participated this year, including flatbed truck driver, Charlie Walker (pictured above).

In all, volunteers laid 540,000 wreaths at 908 veterans’ cemeteries across the United States this year.

A list of all the flatbed trucking companies participating in this past year’s Wreaths Across America program can be found here.
