Inc. Magazine Lists Daseke in the Top 500 for 2015

Daseke Inc. and its big rigs have a big photo spread in Inc. Magazine’s September issue, which covers the 500 fastest-growing, privately-held companies in the United States.

Inc. gives Daseke prominence with a three-page spread showcasing a Lone Star truck hauling a 160-foot wind turbine. Lone Star is one of the nine Daseke operating companies, with each company focused on open-deck trucking. Coming in at number 480, Daseke is the only trucking company with Class 8 trucks named in Inc.’s list.

The Inc. 500 list is comprised of privately-held companies, which have seen the largest revenue growth from 2011 to 2014. Daseke, with a growth rate of 966 percent, was one of only four companies who made the list with sales exceeding $500 million. Daseke had $532 million in revenue in 2014.

“It’s a terrific sight to see our company in the pages of Inc. Magazine,” said Don Daseke, founder and CEO of Daseke. “In less than seven years, we have become the largest owner of flatbed, open-deck and specialty trucking capacity in North America, with more than 3,000 tractors and 6,000 trailers. It’s an honor to be recognized for our growth. We are off to a tremendous start on a long journey together. This recognition is a testament to the dedication of our people and their commitment to service our customers.”

According to Daseke, the future looks even brighter.

“We’ve recently added two more quality companies to Daseke — Bulldog Hiway Express and Hornady Transport,” he said. “They’ll add tremendously to our future growth.”
